PEPSICO EXTENDS UCL SPONSORSHIP THROUGH TO 2021

An agreement between UEFA and PepsiCo to extend their partnership of the UEFA Champions League for the 2018-21 seasons has been reached and announced. The agreement, which is for three years, also includes the UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Youth League Finals and the UEFA Futsal Champions League Finals.

“The partnership will continue to be a powerful marketing platform for PepsiCo’s brands to further engage with football fans across the world while offering unique experiences. TEAM is delighted to support PepsiCo over the next three seasons with further expanding their activities around the competition and to build on the exciting achievements of the last cycle”, Kerstin Lutz, Managing Director Sponsorship, commented. The UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony presented by Pepsi will remain a key element of the sponsorship to continue to bring new audiences and build awareness for the competition.

PepsiCo joins Heineken, Nissan and Santander who have already announced their partnerships with UEFA for the competition’s 2018-21 cycle.
