Graduate Talent Programme

Ready to jump-start your career in sports marketing?

Designed for recent graduates, TEAM's Graduate Talent Programme (GTP) is an immersive two-year rotational journey in an international environment. You’ll have the opportunity to gain first-hand experience, working across several of TEAM’s core departments, such as Marketing and Media Partnerships, Insights, Strategy or Digital – supporting UEFA and its commercial partners.

The programme will arm you with a robust set of skills, deep insights, and the kind of experience that opens doors to opportunities within TEAM and beyond.

Recruitment opens in Spring every year.

What makes the Graduate Talent Programme unique?

Benedetta: Even from the interview process, you can see how much time is invested in finding the right candidate. The process is intense and competitive, but not intimidating. From over 250 candidates, only two of us were selected. But throughout it all, everyone, at all levels, made us feel so at ease and welcome.

Laurin: The Graduates are truly valued – they aren’t just seen as trainees to do busy work. We are given important projects, we can challenge our line managers, and that’s appreciated.

Marc: The fact that you can rotate through different departments gives an amazing opportunity for in-depth, diversified hands-on experience. I was actually surprised to discover which department I liked best, since it wasn’t what I expected at the beginning. If I hadn’t gone through the different rotations, I wouldn’t have been able to identify my actual preferred place within TEAM.

What were your first impressions of TEAM’s culture?

Laurin: One of the things I noticed right away about TEAM is how familiar the atmosphere is. You can approach anyone, no matter how senior and they are genuinely happy to help. The CEO and leadership team are right there with us: in the cafeteria, playing sports, at networking events, etc.

Elin: I love how active and health-conscious the people here are; it gives us a common bond right from the start. One of the highlights of my week is participating in lunchtime sports together.

Benedetta: My age doesn’t limit me. Even though I’m young and just started, everyone is open-minded and supportive. Our leaders really value fresh opinions and want to hear what I have to say.

Elin: My colleagues are not just interested in my progress in the office, but they also have made an extra effort to make sure I’m adjusting well to living in a new town, finding accommodation, etc.

Any memorable moments?

Marc: Working at TEAM has given me so many unique opportunities. From being on a Zoom call with football legends, to developing new social media concepts for the Champions League channels, to visiting the UEFA headquarters and meeting all of the licensing partners.

Elin: I love that I can use my foreign languages and connect with other cultures in my day-to-day work. Not only are there so many different nationalities working at TEAM, but my role allows me to work with media partners in Hungary, Brazil, France, etc.

Final advice:

Laurin: If you’re hesitant about the programme, don’t be. The Graduate Talent Programme is a springboard and investment for your career.
