GAZPROM EXTENDS UCL SPONSORSHIP THROUGH TO 2021

An agreement between UEFA and Gazprom to extend their partnership of the UEFA Champions League for the 2018-21 seasons has been reached. The agreement also includes sponsorship rights for the UEFA Super Cup in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
“Gazprom has been a sponsor of the UEFA Champions League since 2012 and we are proud to have achieved a continuation of our valued relationship. Gazprom will keep on utilising its association to bring fans closer to the game and cement its position as a key supporter of European football,” Kerstin Lutz, TEAM’s Managing Director Sponsorship, commented.
This is the sixth partnership announcement for the 2018-21 sponsorship sales process for the UEFA Champions League, with Heineken, Nissan, PepsiCo and Mastercard signing new deals, while Santander has joined as a new partner.
